IN A NUTSHELL:
The Severne RDM BLUE is a high performance mast, suitable for wave and freeride sails, ultra resistant with an extra layer of fiberglass.
RDM BLUE IDENTITY CARD:
The Severne RDM Blue mat offers excellent dynamics, its harmonious curvature makes the RDM BLUE the lightest and most powerful mast in its class at only 1.5 KG FOR 400.
It is also a more affordable version of Severne's top of the line mast, the RDM RED.
Severne offers a range of masts based on weight instead of carbon percentage. Weight is a very relevant value simply because a certain amount of carbon is needed to achieve the weight. Weight, combined with durability, says a lot about the quality of your mast.

CONSTRUCTION
The two main characteristics of carbon fiber are its excellent strength and lightness.
Severne masts are made exclusively from TorayPre-Preg Carbon®.
The Torayca® prepreg is a sheet manufactured by horizontally aligning numerous Torayca® high performance carbon fiber yarns.
The Torayca is formed by impregnating thermosetting resin (matrix resin: mainly epoxy) containing curing agent into Torayca textile®, the former being called "Torayca® unidirection- al prepreg (UD prepreg)" and the latter, "Torayca® textile prepreg".
MANUFACTURING:
Ben Severne has been working with Italica, the world leader in the production of high quality masts since 1994, with a unique know-how and high quality production tools allowing the development of new products and new technology. The mast are baked in an Autocalve oven to ensure a high level of quality.
The Severne team is based on the West Coast of Australia and is constantly testing all products in optimal conditions to ensure the highest level of performance.

The RDM Blue has a fiberglass outer layer that makes it more durable and less susceptible to impact damage.
It is the ideal mat for wave sails with exceptional durability, it will be ideal with your Blade, S-1, Gator but not only!
The RDM Blue fits perfectly on Severne freeride sails with cams. (OverDrive, Turbo GT)
