Size matters, so the RedBack is not only a children's sail, it is also designed with the ergonomics of younger children in mind.
The clew and boom cut-out are lower, as is the tension of the sail, to suit the lightest of sailors. By adapting the rig geometry to the size of the children, control and performance are improved.
This is a truly flexible sail, built on reduced technology allowing even the smallest of kids to push their limits.
It is sold as a set for simplicity and compatibility. Or as separate components, all designed around the ergonomics of the smallest.
Sizes 2,6 and below use 3 slats for minimal weight.
The larger sizes, 3.0 to 4.7, are based on the S-1 with 4 battens for better stability and wind range.
All sizes use premium eM3 materials for maximum performance.
